Lava

Hopefully I have started a yearly trip with my new family to Lava Hot Springs each year. My uncle has an amazing cabin there and I thought it would be fun if I could get my whole Haveron family to go and float the river. So I asked everyone and luckily pretty much everyone was able to make it for the weekend. Weather wasn't as good as I had hoped, but luckily it's called hot springs:) Between thunderstorms we were able to get quite a few runs in down the river.                                  

Everyone was being a good sport considering the weather, but it's very hard not to have fun with this group of people, no matter the circumstances.

Good thing we brought our truck to shuttle people back and forth. Poor Lexi, but someone needs to hold down the tubes:) Take one for the team. As you can see in the background our weekend did finally get a little brighter considering the day before.

Luckily it stopped raining at night for us to start a 

campfire so we could make our smores! But that only lasted like 20 minutes then is started pouring on us.

Dunes

This past year has been awesome. I love being married, and it's nice being able to hang out with my best friend all the time. We both enjoy all of the same things so it makes things very easy.

Going to the Sand Dunes is a new thing Bowdy and his brothers are starting do to together. I think it is scary, but I love hanging out at the camp with the family, and of course the amazing campfire food:)


Bowdy thinks he is pretty hot stuff, which is pretty true. He loves his 4-wheeler. Didn't realize how high maintenance they really are. And expensive!

What makes it really fun is that each time we go out, basically his whole family comes. Really makes it fun because there is never a dull moment.


This is a picture of me and Brylee. Just taking a break from pitching lessons to be cheesy! Wouldn't you know it, we take our gloves to the dunes.

Speaking of cheesy! Yes, yes that is my hot husband.

Of course we take some time to get one of the two of us. Even though it was hard getting him to stick around between riding the dunes.
